2:14 AM - Sandy Duncan in Disneyland - 1974 TV special (posted by

I'd never heard of this TV special, where Sandy Duncan sings and dances her way through Disneyland in 1974, but I found it accidentally while looking for something completely non-related on YouTube the other night.
I thought I'd pass it along. They have skits inside Pirates of the Caribbean, the Haunted Mansion, and even a song-and-dance number inside the dinosaur diorama. It's interesting seeing how little some parts of the park have changed in the past 30+ years. But boy, have the characters changed...!
It's also sponsored by McDonald's and part 6 includes a commercial from that era, "Where you can still get lunch for less than a dollar!" I guess I'm getting old, now that my childhood years are 30+ years ago. What a neat time capsule. (And for all the kids out there, just go to Wikipedia and you can look up who Sandy Duncan is.)

I thought I'd share this video project I just completed for a local client. They own Festival Park, our Iowa "theme park" for the Des Moines Renaissance Faire. Their main business involves sporting activities (golf, batting cages, go-carts, snowboarding, skiing, tubing, etc.). Their marketing guy put together this tutorial video to play in their lodge letting folks know the process, and I thought I'd share it with everyone.
I put it together using Final Cut running on an iMac, and source video was recorded using a Sony HDR-HC1. Full color correction has not been done, and there are some audio mixing issues, which can be fixed, but the cheesiness of the rest of it is apparently by design :-)
Consider all the snow a free gift to all of you on non-snowy states :-) Happy new year!
