The first part probably includes a detour to the Car Care Center since our rental had a slow leak in one of the tires. Fortunately, we chose Alamo (cheapest via Hotwire this trip) and they have an Alamo center here. It took just a few minutes to drop by and swap out the car.

So, for those who rent, I encourage you to consider Alamo just in case. Had this not been available, who knows how much of our vacation time we'd lost dealing with the tire issue. Thank you, Alamo!

Part 3 stops at the Waffle House where we had dinner. Mmmm, Waffle House hash browns.

When I go to post the photo gallery, I will be experimenting with linking the photos to a map showing where the picture was taken. We'll see if I get that way.

I guess I haven't updated the Other Places galleries in a few years, but it is now. Several years of Iowa State Fair and other event pictures have been added, as well as the first Kansas section for the new T-Rex restaurant in Kansas City. Check them out...

10:41 PM - T-Rex Cafe is coming to Disney World. See the original! (posted by Allen )
For those who don't know, a new dinosaur themed restaurant is coming to Walt Disney World. The T-Rex Cafe is the prehistoric version of a Rainforest Cafe, and the original location opened up earlier this year in Kansas City, KS. I have added a few dozen photos of T-Rex in Kansas City:

It's been years since I've done this, but I'll be visiting WDW later this year and figure I could ask if anyone has any specific photo requests. Just send me an e-mail and I'll do what I can to focus on items you'd like pictures of. (Just in the parks, please; I rarely set foot anywhere else except maybe Downtown Disney or Pleasure Island.)
