Non-Disney Theme Parks:
Life outside the Magic Kingdoms.

I grew up around Houston, Texas, where we had our own local theme park - Astroworld, now defunct. (This was before Six Flags purchased it.) My family had season passes and would go there occassionally, and sometimes even made the drive to Dallas to see the original Six Flags over Texas park. In 1976, we took a mega trip and visited both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. It wasn't until 1995 when I took a new job and started travelling that my "obsession" with theme parks really began.

Since 1995, I've gotten to visit many amusement parks and I usually have my digital camera with me so I can add photos to this online album. From this page you will find links to indexes of my pictures.
