1:21 AM - Disney Studios Paris! (posted by

Filip has posted some amazing pictures of the all-new
Disney Studios Paris theme park which is currently opening next door to Disneyland Paris. Take a look, especially if you have been to Disney's California Adventure or the Disney/MGM Studios in Florida. There are some very cool similarities, and some extreme differences.

I'd like some feedback on a new section I am working on. The test link is at

Hey, a guy I know has an online store that has some interesting Disney merchandise (legal, gift type items and such). I thought I'd mention it here and see if I can get folks to check it out. Please take a moment and click over there:

12:52 PM - Renaissance Festival "wenches" for sale... (posted by

Willa's Wenches has placed a few hand-made polymer clay "wench" figures up for auction at eBay. If you've ever been to a renaissance festival, you should get a kick out of these. Check them out at
http://willaswenches.com or go directly to the auction page at
http://tanjalin.com/ebay.html and see the listing. (What does this have to do with Disney? Not much, though I am trying to talk her into making a figure that is dressed like the old Pirates of the Caribbean hostesses -- everybody loves a pirate, right?)

10:12 PM - Any rennies out there? (posted by

After finding out that several other Disney fan site webmasters were also into
renaissance festivals I thought I'd ask here: are there any rennies out there? My other site (
http://atthefaire.com) features over 8,000 photos taken at Midwest renaissance festivals (and you might find it remarkably similar to this site in layout). I'd also like to mention a renaissance performance troupe, the
Washer Well Wenches. If anyone out there is connected with a festival that needs a wench act for 2002, drop by
http://washerwellwenches.com and say hi.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my site. I appreciate that. I'd now like to offer you a little detour: Scott Leonard's
Once Upon a Time in Anaheim. This site has got to be one of the most beautiful things on the Internet. It has amazing graphics, historical information, and even custom MIDI arrangements of attraction music. I just can describe how fun this place is, so please go check it out yourself.

2:26 PM - Another way to get my home movies... (posted by

If you haven't been able to get through to my server due to it being slow or whatever, check out the newsgroup
alt.binaries.multimedia.disney. Someone has posted most of my 320x240 home movies there so you should be able to snag them faster than you could from my home server. (This is also why my other server has been so slow -- when they posted its URL, I got swamped with people trying to download the files. Wow.)

4:28 PM - Disneyland Resort trip (again)... (posted by
Allen
)
Last year all my work related travel was kind of boring since I was always going to the same place (San Jose). Thanks to cheap tickets on Southwest Airlines I've found it's a pretty simple thing to pop down to Orange County on a weekend and visit the park (I'd like to thank my annual pass for making this possible). It now appears that I will be back at the Disneyland Resort during the weekend of March 2nd and 3rd. (Okay, so I've already messed up my "one trip a month" goal... No big deal, since I probably wouldn't have wanted to go during the peak months of June, July and August anyway!) So, if there are any photo requests, let me know. That reminds me: I still have over a thousand pictures from January to get posted ... Sigh.
