At Disneyland, the entrance is a bit fancier. The ticket machines are different at each park, too. Just outside the entrance used to be the parking lot. Today it is the "Entrance Plaza" which links Disneyland to the front of Disney's California Adventure which opened in 2001. Just west is the tram loading area and Downtown Disney.

TMK's entrance is larger and more spread out. Across from the entrance are bus stops for the WDW transportation system. A short walk leads to the loading area for the monorail or the ferry boat.
