This short-lived street parade was meant to be a replacement for the long running Main Street Electrical Parade. Disneyland added extensive fiber optics to Main Street and in a new viewing area near It's a Small World but even this impressive effects were not enough to save the show from the scathing reviews it would receive.

Trivia: The Riverdance-ish soundtrack featured a bit of the Baroque Hoe-down tune which was the basis of the original MSEP theme song.
